Stephanie Kelley – Business / Clinical Assistant

Stephanie is Dr Hucklebridge’s Business/Chair-side Assistant and has worked with him for over ten years. She has been in dentistry for nineteen years working in offices that specialize in dental implants and cosmetic dentistry.

Stephanie has participated in many continuing education courses, including the Las Vegas Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry.

The greatest joy of her job is seeing her patients smile throughout the day, and being part of the amazing technology that has transformed the world of dentistry!

Laurie Purcell, Clinical Assistant

Laurie has worked in the dental profession as a chairside assistant for over 17 years, specializing in general/cosmetic dentistry.  She has participated in many continuing education courses including the Invisilign certification course. Laurie enjoys working closely with patients and loves to help them realize their smile goals.

Laurie enjoys spending time with her son and daughter. She loves dancing, lounging at the lake, and spending time with family and friends.

Amy Giese, RDH – Hygienist

Amy has been working as a licensed Dental Hygienist for the past 18 years. She is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University (TWU) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She is certified in the administration of nitrous oxide and the application of protective coating sealants, and specializes as a Dental Cosmetic Consultant and Periodontal Therapist. Amy is a leader in her profession and is dedicated to career development, actively participating in more than 250 hours of post-graduate education.

Amy has been instrumental in developing the “Dental Fitness Program” in our hygiene department. This is a new approach to traditional dental hygiene treatment, helping patients achieve optimum dental health through a better understanding of their periodontal condition. Through new technology, research, and improved standards of care, we are now able to maintain complete oral health free of disease. The key to this improved dental hygiene concept is the knowledge and understanding as to HOW and WHY dental disease occurs. Patient participation, through education and involvement in diagnosis and treatment planning, is essential in success of this new philosophy in oral hygiene.

At your Dental Fitness Appointment, a Personal Assessment of your health history, hereditary conditions, medication usage, and daily oral care will be performed to provide a comprehensive picture of your total Dental Fitness. Specific diagnostic tools include x-rays, periodontal evaluation, cavity screening, and the new standard of care in oral cancer screening. This information is then reviewed by Dr. Hucklebridge, and you will be actively involved in developing an individualized treatment plan.

Educating you, the patient, on the latest scientific updates regarding bacterial plaque is critical in providing you with oral hygiene instructions specific to your individual needs. Evaluating cause-and-effect goes way beyond just “Flossing only those teeth you want to keep!” The bacteria that colonize within your mouth have an overall effect on your entire body. The ability of our natural immune system to fight infection is compromised if the oral bacterial count is not minimized on a daily basis. Recent professional dental studies now show a direct correlation between a high oral bacterial plaque count and a higher risk of heart disease, diabetes, auto-immune disorders, and low fetus weight during pregnancy.
